About Hugo's Paw Pals
Hi, I’m Peter, the founder of Hugo’s Paw Pals and the very proud dog-dad to Hugo, our PomJack. Having worked in a corporate role for fifteen years I longed for something more worthwhile - something that combined my love of animals and the outdoors. That's why I decided to start my own pet services business. My love for all animals means I will treat your pet as one of my own, showing genuine care and affection - who doesn't love dog cuddles!
I grew up surrounded by animals and over the years I’ve worked in a range of animal-focused roles — from dog walking, to farm work and working as a veterinary receptionist in Australia. I also have a background in healthcare - bringing the highest quality of care to pets (and people) everyday. Pets are part of the family and I believe wholeheartedly they should be treated as such.
As well as being Canine First Aid trained I'm also currently working towards my Level 3 Canine Handling Diploma - allowing me to offer the safest, most knowledgeable care possible. Fully insured, DBS checked and with a full clean drivers licence.
Hugo’s Paw Pals is more than just a business to me—it’s a chance to give pets the love, attention, and enrichment they deserve, while giving their owners peace of mind. Whether it's a walk, a visit, or some companionship, I’m here to help your pets feel happy, secure, and understood.
It's not just about dogs...
In addition to providing both solo and group dog walks, we also offer a range of drop-in services for any other animals. The can be popping in for a feed, toilet break, playtime or companionship.
These are a perfect option if you're away on holiday, called into the office, or your day is longer than expected.
It provides you with peace of mind, knowing your pet is being looked after.

🐾 Group Dog Walks
- £13 for 1 hour group dog walk
- Maximum of 4 dogs
🐕 Solo Dog Walks
- £17 for 1 hour solo walk
- £12 for 30 min solo walk
🏠 Pet Drop-ins
Our drop in services allow you to spend time away from home, without the worry of leaving your beloved pet alone for too long. I can pop in whilst you're on holiday, or if your working day is longer than expected. It can be to let your pet out in the garden, play fetch or simply give them some company.

📷 Photos and Communication
I'll send photos and videos on each walk or home-visit! This helps put your mind at rest but also see what sort of adventures we're getting up to!
The Van
- The Hugo's Paw Pals van is now fully up and running, allowing for successful group walk activities.
- Fully customised and secure, it allows the safe transport of up to five animals.
- It features the highest quality DT Boxes, each one lined with a towel for extra comfort.
- DT Boxes are one of the leading experts in dog crate manufacture, with each crate being rigorously crash tested.
- Any muddy-pups can be showered with the onboard Mud-Daddy.
